Pugent Sound Gumweed is a member of the sunflower family. The flower heads are covered with a resinous substance. Thrives in clay soils and readily self-sows. Because it is one of the few flowers that blooms up until November, it is a good source of pollen for butterflies, bees and other insects. Does not bloom until the 2nd year.
Planting Instructions: Use general ground prep method (click here).
It can be planted in the fall or spring. Plant 1/4-1/2 inch deep.
